The ProMark apex locator is an electronic root canal length determination device from Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties. Dentsply describes a multi-frequency measuring circuit with automatic calibration and a colour touch screen carrying both a full canal view and a magnified apical view, an apical indication line with corresponding audio cues, and a user-set reference point through the DR's CHOICE function. The housing folds for portability, screen tilt is adjustable, the unit runs on a rechargeable battery, and demo and check modes are provided.
