Dentsply Cavitron Plus Ultrasonic Scaling Unit GEN-136 (2015)

The Cavitron Plus is Dentsply's magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaling unit, marked Type GEN.-136, indicated for general supra- and subgingival scaling, periodontal debridement across all types of periodontal disease, and endodontic procedures. It produces 30,000 strokes per second at the insert tip. Its Sustained Performance System holds power as the tip meets tenacious deposits, and the Cavitron Plus widens the low-power Blue Zone range for subgingival work. The wireless Tap-On foot pedal removes the need to hold the pedal down: one tap runs ultrasonic power for about four minutes, a second tap stops it. Turbo mode adds up to 25 percent power.
