Beckman Coulter GenomeLab GeXP Genetic Analysis System

The GenomeLab GeXP is Beckman Coulter's capillary electrophoresis genetic analysis system. Fragments are separated through an eight-capillary array of 75 micron internal diameter and 33 centimetre length, with on-column laser-induced fluorescence detection and automatic capillary alignment. Beckman Coulter documents the platform for gene expression profiling, DNA sequencing, fragment analysis, SNP and STR work, AFLP and MLPA, and states that more than one application can be run on the same plate with up to 192 samples processed unattended. The manufacturer labels the system for research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedures.
