Dentsply Raintree Essix TurboMAX Alginate Auto Mixer

The TurboMAX Alginate Auto Mixer is a benchtop mechanical mixer from Dentsply Raintree Essix, used to mix dental alginate impression material. Powder is measured by scoop and combined with water in a mixing cup, and the unit then mixes mechanically instead of by hand. Dentsply Sirona's own instructional literature on alginate impressions reports that mechanical mixing produced a more consistent mix with fewer porosities than hand mixing, and that it shortens both mixing and setting times.
