The CARESCAPE Display D19KT is a 19-inch color touchscreen display built by GE Medical Systems Information Technology for the GE CARESCAPE Monitor B850 patient monitoring platform. It is a display rather than a monitoring device in its own right: it connects to the B850 CPU, which supplies the monitoring parameters, alarms and software packages. GE issues the D19KT under several part numbers covering hardware revisions and language variants, so the reference number on an individual unit determines which configuration it is. The B850 platform is used in operating room, post-anesthesia, intensive care, neonatal and emergency settings.
