This is a Planmeca Emerald USB 3.0 scanning cable. It connects a Planmeca Emerald intraoral scanner to the computer running the scanning system, carrying scan data over USB 3. At the scanner end the cable seats with a notch-and-twist connection: the notch on the cable aligns to the small notch on the back of the scanner, and the cable is then turned clockwise until it locks in place. The cable is catalogued under Planmeca manufacturer part number C15651001.
