Densply SPS cavitron gen-119, ultrasonic Scaler

The Cavitron SPS is Dentsply's magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler for general prophylaxis and periodontal treatment, marked Gen-119 in the 115-volt configuration. Its SPS electronics — Sustained Performance System — use two closed control loops, one tuning operating frequency to resonance for each insert and one holding tip stroke steady as working conditions change. The scaler delivers 30,000 strokes per second at the insert tip, and the housing carries top grooves for temporarily resting the handpiece mid-procedure. It accepts all Cavitron 30K ultrasonic inserts and runs at 100 or 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
