Planmeca PlanScan Intraoral Scanner

Planmeca PlanScan is an intraoral scanner used to capture digital 3D impressions for restorative CAD/CAM work. Planmeca states the scanner can be connected to a laptop or integrated directly into a Planmeca digital dental unit, which allows it to be shared between treatment rooms, and that it can be operated from the dental unit foot control. Completed scans are held in Planmeca Romexis software for use in design and manufacture. The PlanScan CAD/CAM platform was developed with E4D Technologies and supports same-day restorative treatment within the practice.
